World News: . []

TeamViewer®, a leading global software provider for digital networking and collaboration, today announced that it has received the Virus Bulletin’s VB100 award for its ITbrain Anti-Malware software for the third consecutive time.

Integrated with TeamViewer, ITbrain Anti-Malware protects computers against threats such as viruses, Trojans, rootkits and spyware. It allows system administrators to define adjustable strategies and adapt Anti-Malware features to the company’s needs and to specific user computers within the company network. Easy to use, ITbrain also offers backup capabilities which are crucial for SMB activities. Among the 33 solutions from around the world that were tested for the June report, Virus Bulletin found that ITbrain Anti-Malware software meets the standards required to be recognized as a legitimate and properly functioning anti-malware solution.

“It is an honor to be recognized by Virus Bulletin Magazine again,” said Frank Ziarno, Business Unit Manager ITbrain at TeamViewer. “As companies and consumers rely on technology in their day-to-day operations, it is crucial for devices to be protected against potential threats. We are proud to offer a solution that provides real-time protection around the clock.”

Virus Bulletin Magazine awards companies that provide anti-malware solutions with a 100% detection rate of certain pests designated by the “WildList Organization” as “In the Wild.” In addition, the maintenance of the VB100 certification requires a complete avoidance of false positives.
