Arbor Realty Trust, Inc. Closes Offering of Senior Notes due 2023

UNIONDALE, N.Y., May 16, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- On May 15, 2018, Arbor Realty Trust, Inc. (the "Company") (NYSE:ABR) closed its private placement to eligible purchasers of $25 million in aggregate principal amount of 5.625% senior unsecured notes due May 1, 2023 (the “reopened notes”) at 99.445% of par.  The offering was made pursuant to a reopening of its existing series of such notes.

The Company intends to use the net proceeds from the offering to make investments relating to its business and for general corporate purposes.

Sandler O’Neill + Partners, L.P. acted as the initial purchaser for the offering.

The reopened notes have not been registered under the Securities Act of 1933, as amended (the “Securities Act”), or any state securities laws and, unless so registered, the reopened notes may not be offered or sold in the United States except pursuant to an exemption from, or in a transaction not subject to, the registration requirements of the Securities Act and applicable state securities laws. The reopened notes are expected to be eligible for trading by qualified institutional buyers (as defined in Rule 144A under the Securities Act).
