South Africa trade deficit narrows to R6.57bn in May

South Africa's trade deficit narrowed more than expected to R6.57-billion ($620-million) in May, from a R13.03-billion shortfall in April, data from the South African Revenue Service showed on Monday. Economists polled by Reuters had forecast a trade gap of R12.5-billion for May.
