Shares in Japan fluctuated, while they edged higher in Australia and dipped in South Korea, after a number of indicators tallied up to suggest the sell-off in Asia was due for a pause. U.S. equities rebounded Tuesday from their worst sell-off in four months, while the yen edged lower. The offshore yuan -- a key risk indicator due to concern China will use it to retaliate against U.S. tariffs -- stabilized after a six-day decline.
