Vehicle makers, Numsa reach in-principle wage agreement, says AMEO

South Africa’s vehicle manufacturers and the National Union of Metalworkers of South Africa (Numsa) have reached an in-principle wage agreement, says Automotive Manufacturers Employers Association spokesperson Andile Dlamini. “The parties met this week to finalise the details of the agreement and resolve other outstanding issues. We cannot comment on the details of the agreement until both parties have signed the Heads of Agreement,” said Dlamini on Tuesday evening.
