'War room' working to get PRASA back on track as passenger trips plunge

The Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa says a "war room" - established to improve the State-owned entity’s fortunes - is already at work, a month after it was launched. Passenger trips plunged from 634-million in 2010 to 208-million in the 2018-19 financial year, a decrease of 67%. The agency was briefing a parliamentary oversight committee on Wednesday about its strategic and annual performance plans.
